All match officials over
the age of 18 that officiate in the
state of Victoria require
a free Working With Children Check.
The Working With Children Check (WWCC) is free and enables competition organisers (whether in Bendigo or elsewhere in Victoria) the chance to ensure that match officials appointed to matches within their region have no history of crimes against children and other inappropriate convictions.
Working With Children Check forms can be obtained from most Australia Post outlets.
A cost will be incurred to obtain passport photos if you do not have a recent passport photo from the last 12 months.
Participation as a match official is considered 'voluntary' and hence no cost is incurred in applying for the WWCC.
More information can be obtained by reading the official information flyer (open)!
