Yellow Card and Red Card Codes for Season 2008

In 2008 all match officials must not use the list of yellow and red card codes shown in the front of any BASL or FFV team sheet booklet as these have been updated for season 2008!

 Yellow Card Codes for Season 2008

  Y1:   Guilty of unsporting behaviour

  Y2:   Shows dissent by word

  Y3:   Persistently infringes the Laws of the Game

  Y4:   Delays the restart of play

  Y5:   Fails to respect the required distance when play is restarted

  Y6:   Enters or re - enters the field of play without the referee's permission

  Y7:   Deliberately leaves the field of play without the referee's permission

 Red Card Codes for Season 2008

  R1:   Guilty of serious foul play behaviour

  R2:   Guilty of violent conduct

  R3:   Spits at an opponent or any other person

  R4:   Denies an obvious goal scoring opportunity (handball)

  R5:   Denies an obvious goal scoring opportunity (any free kick except handball)

  R6:   Uses offensive or insulting language and/or gestures

  R7:   Receives a second caution in the same match
