Coaching Documents
This page contains an expanding range of coaching documents that aid the development of match officials in terms of both knowledge of the laws of the game and 'practical refereeing'.
The documents are categorised according to either their origin, their purpose or a general classification.

Match Report Card
The match report card is a notebook alternative to simply using a notepad to record the details of a match.

To use, download to pdf file (open) and print the page in landscape orientation with a printer setting of '4 pages per page'.
The report card is best presented when stuck onto an appropriately sizes piece of cardboard or plastic, and can also be laminated.
Please not that laminated items do not handle well in wet conditions and that a pencil is best used when writing on wet or damp report cards.

BASL Referee Information Booklet (High Speed Internet Only!)
The 2008 BASL Referee Information Booklet is a complete resource for all referees taking up refereeing in the Bendigo region. matches held in the Bendigo region, provides an introduction to the most commonly misinterpreted and prudent laws and rulings, assists in the development of report writing and gives relevant information relating to local policies.

The booklet is broken down into parts in order to accommodate more efficient (and user friendly) downloading.

Monthly Coaching Documents
The following presentations are prepared primarily for the benefit or referees in the Bendigo region. The decisions made or the directives given in the presentations must not be considered "gospel" for referees outside the Bendigo region as it is the responsibility of each geographical region (in alliance with the state coach) to coach and direct their own members.
